Bodegas Ochoa

A small, sixth generation family business, the winery is run by two lovely sisters – Ariana (winemaker & viticulture) and Beatriz (business & brand). With 145 hectares of stony and chalky soils, Ochoa focus on Grenache and Graciano. Only a few miles from where filming of the moon-like surfaces that appear in Game of Thrones, the Calandas series reflects the unique landscape in which the vines grow. The wine we have selected is the “Moon” wine from the Las Calendas series. The Mil Gracias series (means “one thousand thank yous’”) indicates their gratitude at being able to make wine. All Ochoa wines are honest examples of Spanish wine made for enjoyment and life.
